Source Mate is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in NG5, seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing environment and contribute to a child's personal and academic development.
The Role:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil, promoting engagement and learning.
- Implement strategies to support social, emotional, and academic progress.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school or SEND setting.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
